  • All the markets of Delhi filled with Chinese products
  • The shopkeeper said - boycott will not be easy
The campaign against the Made in China product has intensified in all parts of the country. All the big traders association of Delhi has intensified the fight against Chinese product. On the other hand, there is anger against the Chinese product from the people as well, but the ground reality is quite different.

In fact, the ground reality of some of Delhi's major electronic markets is that the Chinese product occupies 80 to 93% there, in such a situation it is not possible to boycott the Chinese product at the moment.

Aaj Tak team was the first to reach Nehru Place, the country's largest computer and accessory market. Even today there are more than 20,000 offices and shops in 110 big buildings. There will hardly be any brand of computer or accessories which is not found here.

This is the reason why electronic devices are supplied from here to every corner of the country. But there is also a reality that here more than 90 percent of the goods are made in China. This includes everything from pen drives to expensive branded computers.

Mahendra Aggarwal, the founding member of Nehru Place and who has been doing business of computer accessories here since 1986, says, "Many people have started asking me and my family that you too leave the Chinese product business. But, this is not technically possible If I quit my Chinese product, I will die of hunger because only 92 percent is made in China in the entire Nehru Place, including my shop. "

Mahendra Aggarwal, president of the current traders association here, says, "Everything from a small chip installed in a computer to an LED, pen drive, hard disk, motherboard comes from China. Today's situation has become such that whenever Indians If the company starts to make a market with some of its products, then it sends Chinese products to its alternative cheaper and better here, after which customers prefer Chinese products. "

When Mahendra Aggarwal was asked, is there any way to avoid the Made in China product? Then Mahendra Aggarwal said, "There is a way, but not suddenly. We also have to do our production like China. The need is that the government here should promote small industries and electronic industries as much as the Chinese government does. Land should be made available at a price, without any commission, the factory is allowed to be set up and after that we feel that India too will gradually get a grip. "

This is also the case with Bhagirath Palace, Delhi's largest wholesale electronic market. Here, China has a dominance in LED lights, fans, electronic appliances etc. used from homes. The situation is such that the electronic statues and welt of Hindu deities also comes from China.
